If the surface tension of the finish were lower and not uneven, the beads would not coalesce like that. That looks a couple car washes away from sheeting to me.

I don't mean to rag on Nu Finish, but the water beads should be smaller and uniform in size.

I use mostly a Flaig.

You could get necrotizing fasciitis from any scrap, cut, or other wound. It's a pretty rare condition and usually affects people that have a very weak immune system. It can strike out of the blue, though.
