Last night I was listening to WLW radio with Ed from MotorKote. I heard a new claim... if you add 10 ounces of MotorKote to your engine along with 5 quarts of oil, then drain the oil, ONLY 5 QUARTS WILL DRAIN OUT!
Don't even try to convince me 10 ounces of MotorKote "soaked in" to the engine...
Of course, I can't find it...
Anyone remembed the ruling telling Toyota it must provide the consumer filters free if a specific Toyota filter is required in order to keep the warranty valid. I know about the Magnuson-Moss Act, this was a ruling as a result of that law.
Lack of air is what activates it! Loctite bottles "breathe." We had a brilliant "engineer" at work who decided to store Loctite in unapproved bottles to be applied by a needle in the end. The results were a mess!
Here's a little trick if you have a MIG welder... before closing the can, shoot a little Argon into the container. It will displace the air and, because it's inert, the paint, glue, liquid tape, etc. won't dry.
