Who signed the title over? Travis? A manager? If someone other than Travis signed it it’s really odd they wouldnt have record of sale unless its a real Mickey Mouse operation.

Exactly. It’s great he spent all that time/effort/money on it, but for what he’s doing with it might as well be in a museum. Drive it and really enjoy it.
My last 3 Mann oil filters I have bought from FCP for my N55, 2 were from Germany and 1 from Mexico. I also recently replaced a Bosch plug for OPE that had been running kinda rough. Stamp showed Russia.
I ran across the flip side to this scenario today. Saw on the Car Wizards vlog where one of his customers brought in granddaughters Hyundai 2.4 as 4 different shops wouldnt touch it, including dealer. Car had 116k miles. They changed oil first to check for metal and there was some in oil...
2005 Honda Pilot, 208.5K on it. Had it since day 1, it has seen mainly 3.5-4k oil changes on it. Was dealer serviced up til about 4 years ago, had son changing oil since then. It’s had a steady diet of Mobil 1 since then. Changed it out today as matter of fact, looked like it had used about...
Pulled off double play today:
2022 Subie Crosstrek (daughter)
Out: Mobil 1 0-20 and Tokyo Roki filter
In: Mobil 1 0-20, Tokyo Roki filter and Valvomax
6 month changeout
2005 Honda Pilot (son)
Out: Mobil 1 Euro 5-40
In: Mobil 1 Euro 5-40
No filter change, did it last time. 6 month changeout also
I’ve done that with wife’s Lexus. The first time I did the Toyota dealer acted like they couldn’t or didn’t (more likely didn’t want to) wanna touch it. I pointed out it was just a fancy Camry and shouldn’t be any trouble to change oil.
I just received an email yesterday thst they were now shipping from both locations. I had placed an order for some filters this week and it is shipping from AZ.
If you look closely at description, you are also getting the apparatus to change the box over to accept the accordion filter which is about $30.
I’ve been buying the genuine filters for years and they usually are in the $45 ish range. I change mine out twice a year to be safe.
