I have a 2004 G35X. I use only Nissan Matic-J in the tranny because of warranty (Infiniti is very strict on this for warranty). For the front and rear diffs, I use Redline 75W90 and in the transfer case I use Redline D4. I also use Redline power steering fluid. I have been happy with this setup.
Yep, MAF can be serviced. There are two security bits that hold it in, right behind he air filter on the tube leading to the throttle body. Just disconnect the wire harness, undo the 2 security bits and pull it out. Do not drop it though, its moderately fragile :)
I'm not sure I've heard of anyone running 5W20 on a G35... Over at g35driver.com I do not remember anyone running anything that thin. I personally use GC in mine. Any quality 5W30 is fine though.
Go to your local auto parts store and get CRC Mass Air Sensor Cleaner. You basically just spray it...
G35's do have MAF's. I clean mine once a year with the air filter change. 46k and no air filter change? Surprised the thing can still breathe period :) Spark plugs are platinum type, 105k "recommended" interval (I will do 60k).
Change the air filter and clean the MAF; easiest/most cost...
Redline D4 also fits the Dex III spec. The transfer case in my G35X specs Matic-D and I swapped it with D4 with no issues. D4 has been in roughly 15k miles.
I do know that Infiniti specifically states that using anything other than Matic-J in the tranny will void your warranty. They do not emphasize that at all for any other fluid in the car (diffs, oil, transfer case, etc etc). While other fluids may be as good or better, I am sticking the Matic-J...

I'm right about to hit the rinse cycle on my 2002 CBR600F4i. I plan to use Rotella T 15W40 (CJ-4). I have valvoline 10W40 in there right now for the clean phase. I'm right about 5.5K at 70 mph. My redline is 14.2k RPM, so similar to your R6.
