    Suitable10,000 OCI choice for 2016 Lexus ES-350 (V6)

I'm only doing 12-15K per year so changing the oil and filter roughly 1x year would be ideal for me (I have 3 cars). Live in Northern FL, so not very cold and the heat is not as rough as southern FL. Combination of 70%/30% City/Highway. Sounds like the consensus is Kirkland is safe for 10K but...

    Suitable10,000 OCI choice for 2016 Lexus ES-350 (V6)

I've been using Costco Kirkland 0W-20 Full Synthetic and Fram Ultra at 5K OCI on my 2016 Lexus ES-350 with 70K mi. Planning to keep this car a long time but want to stretch out oil changes to 10K to save on time (money savings is a bonus). Haven't done any UOA on this car so hoping for some...

DIY Trans Fluid change on Toyota vehicles.

Pan temp with a IR thermometer may vary depending on where you shoot it. This is a Flir IR image from my Lexus 2016 ES350 which is the same as the Camry/Avalon 3.5 V-6. The "red dot" on the black and white photo is where the IR thermometer was within 1-2 degrees of using a Scan Gauge 2. Either...

    Idemitsu ATF Type TLS-LV (WS)

I find it so odd that they go through all that work to make a WS specific fluid and not touting that is a full synthetic. That should be plastered on the label in big letters. I just bought 2 gallons from Amazon and will be doing a flush too on my 2016 Lexus ES350.

    Alternative for Lexus Toyota WS

I contacted Idemitsu and an engineer confirmed TLS-LV is their Toyota/Lexus WS equivalent that is full synthetic. That's what I'm using in my Lexus instead of Ravenol which is more expensive.

    Alternative for Lexus Toyota WS

So is Idemitsu ATF Type TLS-LV (WS equivalent) really a full synthetic? I can't find anything on their description.

    "Medallion ATF" for Toyota WS

I'm going through this decision now for my 2016 Lexus ES 350 V6. Make sure the mechanic is familiar with the Toyota drain plug vs plastic overflow tube below the drain plug. The reason most mechanics don't want to touch it is because you have to get the fluid level perfectly. The right...

    Alternative for Lexus Toyota WS

Wow, most people are not seeing any red with less than 50K Miles never mind towing. I know you can't go by color for effectiveness.

    Alternative for Lexus Toyota WS

Is that a full synthetic or blend?

    Alternative for Lexus Toyota WS

Looking to replace my ATF fluid on my 2016 Lexus ES 350 (V6) with 40K miles. Like Honda, Toyota calls for specific WS fluid but it is not full synthetic. I know their is good old MaxLife MultiVehicle ATF but I came cross a full synthetic Toyota WS specific option called Ravenol J1D2122-004 T-WS...

    RDX Judder from Tranny

That is true but with 40-50K, that's not excessive even if fluid was never changed.

    RDX Judder from Tranny

I test drove two 2016 Acura RDX today and noticed some shifting hiccups between 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd gear on moderate acceleration. Even holding speed, I noticed the RPM gauge flutter slightly like it couldn't decide if it wanted to shift or not. Kinda weird for both cars to have the exact same...
