Are Fumoto drain valves worth the money?They do make changing the engine oil a little easier but I've seen and heard about valves that got past QC and leaked.Has anyone installed one then removed?I know for my application I would need the extension because of a recessed drain plug.Thanks Joe

I should also mention that I'm only leasing the Toyota or Subaru.A refresh I guess is in the works for the future.

These two SUV's are very close in comparison.They both use 0w-20 oil.I need opinions on the boxer 2.5L and the Toyota 2.5L engine.which one is built better and might last longer.I've heard that the boxer engine in the past had head gasket and oil consumption issues.Thanks Joe

I contacted Purolator filter at [email protected]

I wrote Purolator stating that many people were not happy with the quality of their oil filters and according to them they monitor the posts/comments made by people on this site.They keep in touch with who have concerns about their oil filters. At least the responded to my questions/comments...

Since Purolator filter lost quality control and Fram I'm leary of I guess I'll try Bosch.Are they any good?I think they are made by Champion or Dreaded Purolator.I'm also trying Mahle filter.Joe

I thought that Mann-Hummel and Wix being great companies that produce a quality product they would some how improve Puriolator quality.I guess that's not happening with Purolator.

Have they improved?Has there been any serious problems like ripped filter media.I tried to e-mail them and contact them on their Facebook page but no reply.Their customer relationshions dept is not great at all.I'm glad to see that Mann-hummel owns Wix filter also.Joe
