    Mopar ATF+4

I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota, changed the Transmission fluid back in August of 2007, truck had 48,000 miles. Saw the Mopar+4 oil in Wal-mart and picked up 10 quarts. Dropped the pan changed both filters and it took 7 quarts. Shifting is the same after the change. When the weather is in the 30's...

    Nitrogen Tire Fill

The best advice on this subject I had read previously, (somewhere on this site) was to use hydrogen, makes the car lighter - better gas milage. Makes more sense than nitrogen.

Energy Sec: US 'Off Oil' in 4 Years

Something you gentlemen may have overlooked in production of ethanol is the U.S. paper industry. I recently attended a conference that talked about this. New technology is being developed (already being used in a couple of plants) to turn papermills into biorefinerys. By extracting acetic acid...

    Leather Holster

You can use a hair dryer on the mink oil, just use the low setting to heat it up and it will liquidfy and then rub it in, or gently heat the holster and the mink oil will melt into the leather. I do this on my boots every week and works well,I usually past the mink oil on then use the blow dryer...

Calling all you gun toting ********...I need your help!

The mounts look like the ones made by weaver. Could someone have put scope rings on this light? If the light is a standard 1" you could use scope rings, just never thought of this before. Not sure how useful this would be because it would be hard to use the iron sights at night, point and shoot...

    Industrial Lubrication

At our mill we have a complete oiling program. We have a dedicated oiling group and thats all they do is maintain oil levels on pumps and grease bearings and couplings. On annual outages we contract with suppliers who send in crews to change the oil in pumps (several thousand). When pump...

    10w30 SO WRONG???

I just traded a 89 Dodge Dakota with 247,000 miles. Ran great, all I ever used was Havoline 10w-40. All my vehicles get the same treatment. 1995 Ford Aerostar 187,000 miles runs great, 1985 Dodge Ramcharger 4by4 199,000 miles, all 10w-40. All changed at 4000 miles. Bought a 2004 Dodge...

    Drinking the Green.

I saw a show last night "Max X". It Showed a bunch of crazy people doing crazy things. One I thought would be suitable to this board was a guy from Tailand who started out by eating gobs of grease, looked like wheel bearing grease, even made a grease sandwich with white bread. But the best of...

Topic: Are emplyees a companies most valuable asset?

"Greedy!" I can't remember the last time I got greedy. Our last contract was 0%-2%-0%-2%. That doesen't seem "greedy" to me. Our corporate managers have gotten 15 to 20% raises every year that we have taken 0's and 2's. The raises I have gotten over the last 23 years haven't even kept up with...
