    2013 Mazda 3???

I just picked up a 2.0L 2013 Mazda 3 with 35K miles. Based on the service records that came with it, it should be due for an oil change in about 3K miles. I'm planning on using M1 AFE 0W-20, but had a question about the filter, as I have little to no experience with Mazdas. I'll be sticking with...

    2007 Hyundai Elantra - M1 0W-30 AFE?

Just picked up an 07 Elantra over the weekend. Only 48K. An oil change was done (along with new brakes and tires) before it was put up for sale, but I figured I'd have some fun and change it myself this weekend. I'll be using an OEM Hyundai filter, but trying to decide what oil to use. Been...

    MPG vs. 40 weight oil

I'd love to get 30+ MPG, but I haven't had much luck getting it past 28. I think a lot of that has to do with my driving style lol. I bought this car a year ago for $1,000, so I can't complain. I met a guy the other night who has an '01 Accent, manual trans, and he claims to get 41 MPG.

    MPG vs. 40 weight oil

My daily commute to work is 40 miles round trip, half on the interstate and half city driving. Every Sunday I do 60 miles round trip almost all on interstate, and maybe 5-6 short in-town trips per week.

    MPG vs. 40 weight oil

2002 Hyundai Accent GL, Auto, 110K I'm currently about 2K miles into a 5K OCI with PP 10w30 and Bosch D+ filter (it was free). Previously I had been running QSDefy 5w30 with Wix filters. Since the switch I've noticed more engine noise. The Accent has a noisy engine anyways, but it seems to be...

    2002 Hyundai Accent GL

Thanks for the replies so far. The timing belt was done at 75k, I believe, so I should have some more life left on this one. I haven't touched the trans or the radiator, so I'll check those out. One thing I noticed recently is when I start it in the morning the rpms will jump back and forth...

    2002 Hyundai Accent GL

Long time lurker, first time poster... About a year ago I got an '02 Hyundai Accent from my boss for $1,000. It only had 95K, and I put about $1,000 into it (tires, brakes, rear main seal, plug wires, O2 sensors, etc), and it runs like a champ. I've never been much on auto repair, etc., but...
