-27 This morning and my Passat with GC cranked slower of course but started fine and after approx 2 minutes of idling I was on my way. Thank god for heated seats !

I currently have a 2003 Passat V6 with 130,000 that I don't plan on getting rid of until at least 200K. she rolls with GC 0W30 changed every 7K.

I put over 330,000 on a 1986 Accord I don't know the exact total since I had a broken spedometer cable for about a year. I used either castrol GTX and later syntec and the engine was still going at the end and didn't burn a bit of oil. That was a great motor !

My 2003 Passat 2.8 V6 holds 6.5 quarts which is pretty good for a smallish v-6.

The only thing replaced on the Honda Motor was doing the timing belts. It did like eating alternators though ! I went thru 3 of them. It still didn't burn oil after 300K !

I am no expert on automobile maintenance, but I must know something since I have an engine that has 364,000 miles on it. You got me beat I got 336,000 out of my 1986 Accord !

I was in Des Moines today and I checked 2 stores and they all had GC they still had a few yellew American castrol bottles wtih the yellow lettering mixed in though so you have to check everyone. There is currently no sale on GC so don't waste your time looking right now in less you need to do a...

Just give them some time to restock, all the Des Moines stores have at least 30 quarts of it recently. Wait for the next sale on syntex though! I picked up a grand total of 48 quarts in August for only $4,79 a quart.

What part of Iowa are you in? I have found GC in every Auto Zone I have been to in Iowa. I cleaned out almost every store in the state of green GC the last time Auto Zone has a syntec sale.
