Who uses oil in all 3 Harley holes?

I once used M1 V-Twin in all three holes but really couldn't justify $9.00/qt oil in the primary or transmission. I currently have Schaeffer's 20w50 racing oil in the engine, and 15w40 Rotella in the primary and trans (which is shifting beautifully, btw)

Anyone using HDEO in their Harley?

For those of you that mentioned it, I am well aware that H-D calls for 20w50 in temps above 40F, and have used both Mobil 1 V-Twin and Schaeffer 20w50 in my FLHR. I do use Delvac 1300 as my winter fill however, since I do ride year-round. What prompted me to start this thread was something I...

    Retailers on crack!

I decided to go with Schaeffer 20w50 Racing Oil (product #705). I was able to get it at a reasonable price from a local NAPA jobber. I will have a UOA done and post it later.

    Oil for antique tractors?

HDEO all the way. I run 15w40 Rotella in my 1946 Ford 2N in the summer months, and 5w40 Rotella for winter use.

    Retailers on crack!

I needed some inexpensive conventional 20w50 oil for a short OCI on the Harley and went to the local motorcycle "superstore" to get some now-hard-to-find Pennzoil motorcycle oil (which I've used before and really like) Surprise, surprise, to find that they have it marked at $6.99/qt! I bought...

Anyone using HDEO in their Harley?

Just curious if anyone runs HDEO (like Rotella or Delvac) in their Harley, either in the engine or primary/transmission?

    What gasoline do you use?

The Harley gets Sunoco Ultra or Shell V-Power exclusively.

    motorcycle commuters

I ride almost daily. I upgraded from a Sportster to the Road King in January of 2009. My commute is 90 miles round-trip, and I put 13,000 miles on my bike from January 5th, through September 17th when I deployed to Iraq. Because the Roadie came with saddle bags, I haven't felt the need for any...
