Who's oil fiter is better? AC Delco or the Purolator oil filter. I started to these Purolator Pure one filters advertised on TV and hear alot about them. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks

IMO.... Purolator. I've stated the following before.... whenever I put on an oil filter I use a rag or something to wipe off the threads of the filter. There have been multiple times in the past when doing this (with Delco filters) that I have seen metal shaving on the rag. Because of this I will not use Delco again.

I have seen reports of crap on the thread of many different brands. Seems it happens to all of them.

The AC 1177's I have cut open had half again more media than an L 10193. Purolators have a dome end bypass too. Quality of the media is a black hole.

In almost all, if not all testing, Purolator Pure One comes out on top.
