I put this list together. Maybe if we complete this list it can become a sticky so people dont keep asking over and over.
The one obvious caveat is that even though multiple brands are made by one mfg they can be very diffferent in their construction and materials.

Powerflow oil filters at murrays are purolators and all the current chrysler oil filters i have seen were purolators not frams although that could change at any time.
The trust oil filter i took apart a few years ago was a champion labs product.
I saw an oem saturn oil filter that had "fram filtration inside" printed on it and it was definitely a fram made for saturn

One change...

I think all new Quaker State filters are made by Purolator. You have it listed twice, under both Fram and Purolator. I don't think Fram makes Quaker State filters anymore.

Clarcor makes Baldwin, Hastings, Amsoil, Casite.

Add SuperFlo to your ArvinMeritor (Purolator) line.

Add Warner and Luberfiner to the Champ Labs line.

Ken

An addendum to the above list: Please note that not all Honda filters are made by Fram. Some of their better filters are made by Filtech (?), and what I think is their best filter is made by Toyo Roki of Japan.
