Getting ready to order the above for my Chevy truck, but don't know what size hole to drill for the grommet. Want to make sure I have the right bit in advance, and I assume a spade bit works best drilling thru plastic?

I recommend the more sensitive K&N Filter Minder: K%N Filter Minder on Amazon

I had the Wix filter on my Toyota 5.7L V8 and it never registered.

The Wix filter gauge indicated 8-25 inches H2O and was not sensitive enough for my application.

The K&N filter gauge indicates 0-10 inches of H2O and shows a 50% (approx. 5 inches H2O) restriction after a WOT test with a new OEM paper filter.

Installation is easy:

Measure twice, cut once:

Use an 11/16" spade bit to cut the hole on the air box. I also used a small amount of K&N Air Filter Grease to assure a good seal to the grommet:

You probably have all this sorted already, but if not, I hope you find this helpful.
