Here are the last 3 oil analysis I had done on my 2006 VW GTI 2.0T.

Oil history:

0-5K miles: Factory fill
5K-10K miles: Mobil 1 0W-40
10K-15438 miles: Mobil 1 0W-40 (1st analysis)
15438-20120 miles: German Castrol 0W-30 (2nd analysis)
20120-25058 miles: German Castrol 0W-30 (3rd analysis)

You could run that oil a little longer, go 6-7K next time if not across a winter. Did it "feel/run" ok when you changed it?

The car "felt/ran" fine; always very smooth with consistent performance and MPG's. However, I plan to stick with 5K OCI's, since I don't put many miles on my car and this results in only needing 2 oil changes per year - one in the spring and one in the fall.

Like most people, I am very happy with the GC and plan to stick with it for the foreseeable future.

Not a bad run, but I think you got as long as youd want to go from the OCI. If you are paying for GC from my experience in DI Id suggest M1 TDT 5w40.
