Maybe they were 150 version if you are remembering swirl flaps and double cam layout. GTX3 15w40 mineral oil isn't really suitable for those, especially not with 18k miles OCIs. Especially if cars were equipped with DPF. Frequent regeneration stoppin

How about dual-clutch transmissions for daily drivers. I could stand having gear shifts that are a half-second slower with a traditional auto because with careful planning I can still get to work on time. GDI is a definite NO, NO. Same with CVT's. A

Oh yeah, add timing belt to my list. Hate those. The Santa Fe 2.7L V6 was a royal PITA to do that on.

I love visiting scrap yards , I just got a steering rack for one of my 2009 Sonatas for $89. Car had only 37k miles on the rack. Huyndia dealer ask $800+ for a new rack.

All but item 4. A good I 4 in a light chassis provides great handling and fun. For the average guy, it provides fun driving a slow car fast. Plus the mechanic in me is scared by the timing chains/belts required in an OHC V6

I believe the older volvos are Dex III. Definitely change it. I'm also of the multiple D/Fs instead of a single flush. Hopefully there's a pan and filter to change out in this one. -m

I asked myself why bother with getting certificates if they prorate them anyways. So now if I come back 4 days later with a nail In a spot that can't be fixed, then they won't give me a new 200 dollar tire for 30 bucks?
