Enjoy!

Blackstone comments:

No metal was present and the additives are pretty standard for a gear lube. The viscosity was correct for 75W/140. This oil contains a little silicon. That normally shows dirt, but here it's an anti-foam additive. No moisture or insolubles showed up. The TAN was 3.1, so the oil starts out with a little acidity due to all of the phosphorus additive present. In any case, this is serviceable oil.

What about the amount of sulfur in modern (since 2010..2013) AMSOIL Severe Gear (75W-90 or 75W-110 or 75W-140)?
In VOA or UOA?

Only 781ppm phosphorus!!! (Old Amsoil Severe gear had 1300ppm phosphorus)
Is this real GL-5 oil?

Blackstone needs to re-calibrate again. The P is way low. Some people don't understand measuring P can be difficult, and a single VOA is not evidence of a formula change.

What about sulfur content?

You could always send in your own Amsoil sample and pay an extra $25 for the extra sulfur analysis.

That appears to be 4X too high.

Can you post your complete analysis results?
