Trying to save two pairs of "sports sandals" which would otherwise have lots of life left except for the soles are separating. What is everybody's go-to method? I am thinking either loctite go2 general purpose adhesive, Goop, or Shoe Goo...

I use contact cement. The Yellow version. I put it on both sides and wait 20 minutes and then stick it together. I'm cheap and buy cheap shoes and fix them all the time.

Shoe Goo! Works fantastic I fixed my wife's 10 year old Teva's this summer the sole and second layer were separated badly. Put some on spread it around then I used cloths pins to hod it together. Extremely strong and flexible when dry good for another 10 years!

I've used contact cement and also floor joint construction adhesive but not the white! The brown stuff with the volatile ingredients in it.

Shoe Goo. Works very well and widely available.

I had major sole separation on a pair of motocross boots. I was amazed at how well Shoe Goo worked to re-bond the soles.
