Have a Bosch d+ 3312 filter from him. This fits Honda's correct?

Thank You gentlemen and ladies

Go to Wix filters and look up 51334 (crosses to your 3312). There is a long list of applications for this equivalent filter, including Honda.

Ok, so since I have saw many kia/hyundais towed to our shop from aftermarket filters and incompetent quick lube places; should I cut this one open or??

How were the aftermarket filters causing those cars to die and need a tow?

Sure, cut 'em all open.

Yes, but a very HEAVY can and plate

These are different media that doesn't tear or make holes like other Purolators

A few vehicles came back with engine knock. Filter on loose, other problems. Hyundai/Kia forbids us from using "aftermarket" filters on our fleet. Something about bypass not being correct and other stuff. I'd use this if I had a Kia or Hyundai; BUT I dont

Yeah, the Fram site crosses it over to a 9688 or 3593a size.

I would use it on a Hyundai (I actually have a D+ 3323 (little taller, but smaller diameter than the 3312) ready to go on my sisters Hyundai Santa Fe, and have a D+ 3323 on my motorcycle right now)

I know you do enough Hyundai's for family/friends, I would use it without hesitation (only Purolator I use with no worries).

Kstanf, not sure where you went to HS, but glad I wasn't there to observe.

53' and me just have lots of fun doing this for the board. He's been kicking back all week in NC so have to get him back in the mood LOL

I've used them on three Hyundai/KIA without incident. Tell whomever advised your shop not to sway from OEM, to go fly a kite.

I think newer Hondas use a xx7317 (Fram number) but this may still fit. My '99 Accord (4-cyl) uses a xx3593 and I'm wondering if Honda eventually switched all models to the 7317.

Comparing dimensions, it will fit pretty much any Honda. At some point, Honda went to a slightly larger diameter.

And pretty much all the compact diesel tractors coming out of South Korea also use this same 20mm x 1.5mm thread filter.
