Where's the General Altimax Arctic? You can but them for half the price of some of those tested and imo they will perform as well or better than any of those others tested. Guess we will never know.

The Altimax is, I would guess, not generally available or popular in the Russian and Scandinavian markets, and so they are not included in the various overseas tests. But CR and TR in the USA test them, to a limited extent. Also missing from this years tests is the new Blizzak WS90 and the aging Michelin Xi3.

Considering that General is lower tier brand of Continental it should mean that Alimax Arctic is somewhere below Continental IceContact 3 FlexStud, which occupies top spot.

PS Assumption may be wrong but it is hard to imagine company not putting its name on its best product.
 
I remember finding the NAF test result of the Gislaved NordFrost 3 tire the General Altimax Arctic really is (just rebranded).

In its day it was a better than average tire. But that was ~10 years ago
