Paint Leak

I had two small bottles of Touch-up paint, I made sure the caps were tight, I laid the bottles down instead of standing them up
and the paint leaked out at the cap. Any guesses? Thanks you

Did you clean the bottle and cap threads?

had that happen years ago with a small bottle of touch up paint...turned out to be that I must have really put the cap on tight cause I had a barely visible crack in the cap..and the paint managed to leak out thru that tiny crack
