I helped a buddy sort some brass and a handful of rimfire bottleneck cases were found and I claimed them for what at the time I didn't know. Girlfriend already had a pair of the like for ear rings.
Brought home a pair of new work boots and the aglet on one was mashed a bit and the idea of the new use for the brass cases came to mind.
I dab of 3m trim adhesive on the string and shoved on the brass and was a perfect fit
