Ravenol ATF Equivalent for Mazda Type-FZ

Is anyone use Ravenol's Type-FZ equivalent fluid in their Mazda Skyactiv transmission? Obviously it is unlicensed, but it does appear to be made specifically for the application and is not a universal type fluid. The cost is very similar to the Genuine Mazda fluid.

If they can't even get the verbiage right in their disclaimer statement, why would you trust the product?

Now, beyond that, you state that the OEM fluid is nearly the same price.
Why would you mess with this unlicensed stuff???
It just makes no sense.

Ravenol is a botique oil like Amsoil, it tends to be good stuff, I'm pretty sure that disclaimer isn't that they aren't liable if you use their FZ equivalent in a transmission that calls for it, I'm sure they mean that they don't take liability if you use the wrong type of fluid in your transmission ie. if you put Ravenol Type FZ in your CVT or something like that.

I have used this in my CX-5, did 3 drain and refills, shifts are great and the Ravenol is a full synthetic, the OEM fluid is petroleum based, was looking for an upgrade from the factory stuff.

Quite a few are using Ravenol FZ on the Mazda forums with great success.

Mazda FZ Fluid is petroleum made by Idemitsu.
