I have a burning like smell coming from the right rear wheel on my 2005 Honda Accord. It's a LX so it has rear drum brakes. It's a faint smell and probably wouldn't be noticable to the average person. The left rear doesn't smell.
The car has 194k miles and I am pretty sure the drums and shoes are original. I pulled the drum off and everything looked good as far as I could tell. The shoes don't have a lot of material left but there is enough. The drums look decent.
I jacked up the rear of the car and spun both rear wheels. They both spin with minimal resistance and feel the same. The brakes don't make any noise and the wheel/lug nuts aren't warm after a 25+ mile drive.
Any ideas what could be causing it?
