What are the odds?

The plastic clip which secures the return line in place broke off at some point in time so the return line was free to move up and down a little bit.

My axle had rubbed / ground a flat spot into the return line which ended up developing a hairline crack that was weeping the fluid out.

Wrapped the return line in some loctite tape and I'm back in business.

OP - Good catch.
That's why it's always good to just spend some time checking things over.

On my vehicle, I have always wrapped Heater Hose around any questionable rub points of Brake Lines.
Slice length wise and attach with Cable-Ties

I was initially going to do that too, wrap some plastic conduit over top but I used the last bit I had on a wiring harness for a 4 channel amp I got a few months back. Might revisit and do that later on

Update. The p/s fluid ended up permeating the loctite tape and it began to leak again, and somehow even worse than before. Lost the entire contents of the reservoir sitting overnight.

Local AutoZone had literally one replacement return line for my car in stock so I took it. Installed it about an hour ago, driving to school and work tomorrow will tell if it is finally fixed or not...
