So have two gas Simpson power washers(MSV3024, MSVK2723) both have the same pump and are leaking/sprinkling from the pump area once the pressure washer has turned on.

Is there a way to weld/silicone/solder or do anything to fix the leak or pretty much pump replacement is needed?

Pump is more than the worth of the washers right now, thanks for the help

pumps can be repackecked.....some bypass valves can be replaced.....you will have to find out if the pumps have rebuildable valves....if they dont...probably cheaper to get a replacement pump.

over 30 seconds off the trigger will start harming the pump as the water will overheat in the bypass. Full throttle, all the time - like a weed-eater.

Cracks in the housing due to water freezing in winter are very common because pumps don't drain well.
If that's your issue, they are pretty much unrepairable without replacing the cracked housing.
My neighbor tried to JB Weld his and it was a waste of time, instant fail.
