Running in / Break in Oil

Hi,

Could anyone suggest a formulation for a general purpose Running In oil?

The ones I find are mostly Mineral Straight 30 type here in the UK, what i'm asking is why are straight oils most popular for running in? Why not a multigrade one such as a 10w30 etc?

Also what should I be looking for in a good quality break in oil? High Zinc?? High Detergent??

Why would you need multigrade oil if its just for break in (short period)

plus almost all monograde oils are like 20w30ish....

Definitely mineral...andhigh zddp...

Look for a Lidl 15w40 api SF/CD.....

It really depends on the engine when I choose break in oil
