I'd noticed that as well. I'm thinking either lab error, sample error, or moly got all used up doing its job adhering to the metal.

Ya, I would say. O.K there.

"honestly, I wouldn't know. I'd have to compare to many other UOA's from this exact engine."
I suppose if you wanted to compare motor oils, but from an engine stand point with this oil, at this time, with this drain interval, the iron is at a comfortable level.

I was commenting about the lead. Not even a doubling of oil interval, yet the lead went from 7 to 28, quadrupling.

If anything, the iron looks fantastic. Didn't increase much at all.

Lead level is just fine. Pablo.

I beg to differ. 28ppm is way, way high even for 8.2k on a 6.0. I ran rotella 5w40 for 9400 miles in my 6.0, showed 10ppm of PB which I might add is the highest PB my 6.0 has ever shown single digits at 6000miles is normal. I think you had a dirt streak on a bearing or something. The moly and more than 1 on your chrome plus 50+ iron. I know I'd be ----ed. It aint the oil but something didn't go right on that fill. Maybe like sales rep said an error at the lab.
