In a phone call to Schaeffer's, I was told that the 7000 changed to the new CJ-4 rating for the newest diesel engines. The 9000 was to remain CI-4+ until about 2010.
Salesrep,
since you are much closer to Schaeffer's, than I am. Have you heard that the 9000 will convert to CJ-4? Will they have both CI-4+ & CJ-4?
I hope the 9000 will still be available in CI-4+ in the future.
