SUS Viscosity@100C- 12.9
Fuel Dilution%=0
Antifreeze=0%

Nitration=15

The lab noted that the Aluminum was out of normal range and it seems to run a little high to middle of where others have reported.

Any input on 1)Soot 2)Oxidation and 3)Nitration would be appreciated

It would seem so but others have had 35-60 on a regualr basis. They do take a while to break in. I will have an analysis done fairly soon with Amsoil 3K HDD and will be interested to see the results.

Was the previous oil the same? driving style?
Any fuel additives regularly used?

Looks good. Without a bunch of CRD UOAs, no conclusion can be drawn.

You'll need to contact the lab to see what type of scaling they use for soot/nitration/oxidation.

Since the OEM filter is a joke, I don't expect to see low soot numbers from this diesel. Soot will also add to wear.

IMO, the Jeep recommended OCI is nuts. I wouldn't want to run any oil in this engine for more then 7.5k without better filtration.

I run the Amsoil Ea034 oil filter and Series 3000 5W-30 HDD. I also have the EGR turned way down so soot should be very low on my UOA I hope.
