CAT DEO Syn vs Rotella Syn

Is there any reason to go with the CAT oil over the Rotella? I know Chevron manufactures the oil for CAT to their specs. I have access to the CAT oil at $27/gallon or I can go to Wally World and get Rotella for $15-$16/gallon. If there is a compelling reason, I'll buy the CAT. The engine is a 1996 Powerstroke and I live on the southern shores of Lake Erie, so on rare occasions we may se single digits in the winter.

I'd forget them both and buy Schaeffer9000 5W40 synthetic for 16$ a gallon.

I think you will find CAT DEO is made by Mobil and is Delvac, not Chevron.
