This is an update and I just completed my rinse phase on a 1987 Ford Ecolonine V8 with about 140k. The engine was actually "knocking" prior to applications, but after putting the new oil it sounds like I drove it off the showroom. At first I wasn't sure if it was a very loud tick or a knock, but my mechanic buddy confirmed it was a knock. I wasn't that suprised ARX seamed to have fixed it, but he sure was. I went back to Mobil one and put 3oz for a maintance dose, and that's it. We'll see how it goes, but one application of this seams to have done the trick.
