It's been a while since the last update, so here goes:

Vehicle: 99 Ford F150 Supercab Flareside 4x4
Engine: 4.6l 2V V8
Tranny: 4-Speed Auto

Oil Filters: All Purolator Pure Ones at this point
Air Filters: Through 3/06 was a Fram, then a Napa Gold

Driving Charecteristics:
3/06 to 6/06: The usual 60+% freeway miles, with a 3500 mile vacation out east with plenty of beach 4x4 driving on the outer banks of North Carolina.

7/06-10/06: The usual 60+% freeway mileage, with 1500 miles of trailer towing, a Colorado Vacation, 350+ miles of 4x4 driving in snow (yes snow in early october in Northern Minnesota, mud, slush, etc... for firewood hauling). In otherwords, the truck continues to earn its keep.

Sorry, I don't have the vis, etc.. in front of me for the other changes, but there were no issues with any of them.

All runs were Citgo Synthetic 5w30, but the last run was SM rated instead of SL. Obviosly no issues to worry about there...

All in all, I'm quite happy with the results from this 3.75 a quart oil in this rig. I'm going to keep on using it!

Does the place where you bought this oil also carry the CITGO CITGARD SynDurance line in 0W-30 and/or 5W-40? If so, what place is that and what is/are the price(s)? In fact, what do they charge for this 5W-30?

Thanks.

About that question regarding the 5W-30's price? Uh...nevermind.

I get this at Mills Fleet Farm here in Minnesota.

In the synthetic realm, all they carry is the 5w30 and 10w30. In the dino flavors, 5w20, 5w30, 10w30, 10w40, and SAE 30 are all generally availible. No Syndurance I'm afraid.

And believe me, I get the need more sleep thing too!
