Added ARX and now loud hydraulic lifter tapping no

As I tried to warn, ticking in a V8 Mercedes, is NOT like ticking and other such noises in your Toyota, Nissan or whatever.

In a V8 MB, it's a sign of a plugged oil tube at best, a failed oil tube or a failed lifter at worst.

This was originally started by yours truly when an some oil tubes failed in my V8 M119 engine in 2002. Also had a partially plugged lifter that took a while to get 'clean' via ARX.

Did you look into that common problem with your motor that Jim F was telling you about? Seams like it's worth a shot, it might save you a lot of money if it works.

thanks JimF. My car started to REALLY TICK yesterday. I mean REALLY LOUD. I'm scaring all the kids in the neighborhood and ppl can hear me from a block away.

I'm going to take the valve covers off when I get home tonight and inspect what's going on w/ the oil guides. If i find any of them are busted, I'm ordering a new set tomorrow
