Get CRC Power Lube

Yeah, always liked 5-56 much better than WD-40. It seeps into rusted fasteners much more effectively, imo, than WD-40.

This is the greatest stuff. I won't use WD 40 anymore. PowerLube is much better. Used to be called CRC 5-56 for you old timers out there.
 
The 5-56 had wintergreen smell. That is gone now with Power Lube, but the nice thing, if you wife has a nose like my wife's, is that Power Lube's odor dissappears quickly and is rather mild. They say the basic tool kit is duct tape and WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, duct tape it; if it doesn't move but should, WD-40 it. But the same can be said for my basic tool kit: Power Lube and Goop (not hand cleaner, but the Shoe Goo type). And, yes I do have duct tape, but with Goop, find little use for duct tape.
