2004 Dodge Ram CTD Factory Fill

I sent an oil sample to Blackstone Labs monday afternoon and I recieved the results via email today.

This is the factory fill oil with 1177 miles. I know the results, at this point, won't provide much useful information, but I was curious to see the results. The oil was changed,and I will change again at 4000 miles. I will then go to 7500 mile change intervals per schedule B.

Personally I expected much worse. These numbers are really nice on a factory fill. But, I do attribute alot of the low wear to the Cummins which is a great engine. Your plan for oil changes is very sound with this engine. Keep us updated with your next UOA's on this.
