Once I get moved in there and find a job I'll probably be working in either Muncie or Marion so I'll be driving 20-30mi trips in it, not to mention there's nothing in Hartford city so when you need to pick something up you can't find at a Dollar General or the Mom&Pop hardware store you have to drive to Muncie.

Unless Muncie gets down to -35 or below then the difference between a 0W-40 and a 5W-40 is meaningless. In fact the 0W rated oil might be thicker until then. The 30-grade will be thinner however, regardless of the winter rating.

Change at 3767 miles, January 3, 2020 to July 1, 2020; so only about 600 miles/month instead of my usual 900. Still had 31% life on the monitor.

Out: 5W-30 Dexos certified Castrol Syntec; In: same
Filter: AC Delco

I plan to run this another 6 months, until December '20 or Jan. '21.

I guess your Da Swamp doesn't fill with ice in December or January. My oil changes here end in November - start back in April.
Too old to crawl under vehicles in the driveway in freezing temps. Not gonna' visit an oil change shop with my own oil and filter either in the winter.

You know what you get when you mix Mobil 1 EP and AP ??

The highly sought after hydrid oil called Mobile 1 AEP...

Which stands for Advanced Eventual Potential

That Supertech Ecore filter is pretty decent for Mom's use. There's a cut-open one a couple pages back in the Oil Filters Room here. I know - I bought it.
Dr. Adam did the Surgery.

Wix 57356 replaced a Fram TG7317
Tranny drain and refill with about 3.5 qts of genuine Honda DW-1

Did the timing belt, water pump, plugs, and serpentine belt a few months ago. Other than being a bit gutless, this car has great - perfectly reliable and still looks and drives like new.
