Hello, I already have my flame suit on for this question...In my garage I have a rack with a couple hundred dollars worth of motor, gear, trans oil. Approximately a week ago my wife set a box of fruit from her family very near my oil. Long story short; the fruit rotted and made a mess. Nasty mold, juice, and gnats for days. Any compromise to the oil? Thanks

No citrus...20lbs of nectarines. Appreciate your reply.

Yes, all the lubricants are bad and must be discarded. I will dispose of it for free in an environmentally conscious way. PM me for an address to ship it to.

This -

rotten fruit juices can't get in if the oil isn't leaking out

Then you might need some bird shot to shoot them suckers down

You're fine.

I'd clean the containers good with something to remove the sticky mess and continue on.

As long as the bottles are plastic, they are new/unopened or the tops are screwed on tight, you'll have no problem.
LOL
