I am aware of the product being added to mineral oil to widen the temperature viscocity range of the base oil.

But not sure what the situation with full synthetic oild is.

Do they still have these added or not? Is it the same for all brands?

I am only talking about viscocity modifier not other addtivies

...Viscosity Index Improver or Viscosity Modifier (Performance Additive): Olefin copolymers (OCP's), hydrogentated styrene-diene copolymers, styrene esters, polymetharylates (PMA's), mixed alkyl methacrylate-vinyl-pyrrolidines, aminated ethylene propylene, mixed alkylmethacrylate ethylene/propylenes; reduces viscosity change with temperature. Increases viscosity of base oil as temperature rises when base oil tends to thin. Some VII's may also act as dispersants by incorporating dispersant compounds.

As kschachn stated VII's are used in synthetic formulations as well as conventional (mineral) oil bases.

The exception is in very specific cases where the mix of fully synthetic base oils give rise to the proper viscosity index without any VII's.
