is this the only place to get these type of keys? or since its a non transponder key i can find a similar one from lowes etc and get it cut?

thx

According to this web page, you want to be looking for a P1113/B102 key blank: https://lost-car-keys-replacement.com/gm-non-transponder-key-p1113-b102/

Looks like a very common key available at lots of places: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=p1113%2Fb102+key

Looks like you can search for Stattec 598007 also. Stattec is an OEM supplier of high quality keys: https://www.americankeysupply.com/product/gm-b102-p-p1113-mechanical-key-w-chevy-strattec-598007-2907?utm_medium=adwords&%3Futm_campaign=&utm_source=&utm_content=&utm_term=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI59TFp4eF6gIVxcDICh0IiATFEAQYASABEgLDzPD_BwE ........ Ebay has them 2 for $6 delivered.

It uses the same blank as any GMT800, so you can get them any place that cuts keys.

If you care about branding, you can get the GM branded keys online for less than $12 probably. Not sure what the availability is of Hummer branded keys anymore, probably discontinued but there's likely some still floating around if you look online. One of the maintenance trucks at work, a Silverado 2500 utility body, has a Hummer key.

I got mine for like cheap from a Motorcraft FAD that also does ACDelco. They came in a Stratec bag just like the Ford ones.

Just have the dealer cut it.

I took my grandparent's 02' Trailblazer key into the Chevy dealer and they made a copy for around $12 out the door.

thx for all the replys! i actually spoke to a local lockmisht and they have blank metal keys that fit my vehicle for $4 cut which is good price but i was hoping to get one with the black rubber thing, or does anyone know of i can buy those things to slip onto just a metal key?
thx
