I have an 1100 v star that takes a 110/90/18 front tire. I have a Metzler ME 800 120/90/18 tire in my stock. Any issues going up on size on the front?

If it fits without interference, the only issue I can see is slower steering response.

More width means it's also going to be taller also. Check clearance on your fender and anything to the outside.

check motorcycle tyre websites for specific info. depending on how your bike "reads" mph it may be off a bit

True ... but what I've found is typically speedometers read a little high, so a slightly taller tire will make it read closer to real speed.

Thanks, I wanted to make sure I wasn't violating any unwritten biker law by using this tire

Side by side the Metzler is bigger than I thought diameter wise. I'm sure it would fit as far as clearances go, but I may just re-think this if I can find a 110/90/18 locally
