I bought a Hobart welder generator a few years ago and I am not sure why. The Wisconsin engine ran when I put it in the barn. Now it's time to get stuff fixed and sold so I can move.
I looked in the gas tank and I see rust, not super bad but rust. I think I can get the tank off, dump in some pea stone shake it in all directions. Dump out the pea stone, pour in something to clean it, then pour in a gas tank sealer, rock and roll the tank around and let it dry. Amazon has many from under $20 to over $75. How much do I need. I am thinking it's a 5 gallon tank. Never have tried this before.
