Sorry for the format but that is how it copied over. The first number value is the current reading and the second one is the past sample. the wear number have gone up but the lab says still in normal range. Oil used was Mag1 15w40 and Chevron Ursa 15w40 for the past sample. Will run Amsoil 15w40 next run. This was 250 hours of hard use.

Calcium is listed as 2571 ppm for the used oil sample but the new oil lists 1050 ppm calcium. What could cause that number to rise?

Really? I wouldn't consider a 9 liter diesel with 300 HP and 900-1000 ft lbs torque small. They sell the same truck with a 6.7L!

How much weight do they carry? I am used to 14L engines. The 10L I hauled trusses with was miserable on any hill and rarely grossed 40k.

The trash trucks here are allowed 66k gross. But often come in a lot heavier. I saw one @90k on the scale once lol

It's a 20 yard rear loader and the registration says 56,000 GW.

Still a lot of weight (IMO) for a 9L engine. 1000ftlbs is 1950's Diesel power!

"Coolant No No" is the biggie in my book as far as a good result, the block and gasket are holding true.
