number 2 grease of number 3 thickness

i use alot of grease on my heavy equipment number 2 238 moly grease i know it comes in a thicker number 3 too.

its all use in big slow moving equipment that's use in dirt and water. The number 2 is working fine and im sure i over grease. i grease every 8-10hour of almost after any use in water even for 5 hours to push any water out.

i just like the idea of the heavier grease any reason not to use it ?

Pumpability. #3 in colder temps may not do its job. 3# may be worth a try. You gotta love Schaeffers 238! Also Schaeffers grease tend to run on the thicker side comparatively.
