I think this is cheap. I bought two bottles will put 1/2 a bottle in my sierra with 250k at next oil change just to help it a long. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Liqui-Moly-Motor-Oil-Saver-Additive-300ml-can-10-14oz-LM2020/292106406193?epid=657304831&hash=item4402e60931:g:EGQAAOSwuMZZC2cy

Worked for me by doing:
a) highlight whole link
b) right click, open link in new tab.

What is so special about it? Would it help with leaking valve guides?

I quickly looked on amazon and the reviews look amazing for this product, will have to try it in my 2009 Camry.

I doubt it would do much for guides but seals possibly. I heard good things about these products here and its half price almost.

This product seems to make similar claims to another product that I know ... AT-205 RE-SEAL. At-205 is used in trannys, not in motor oil. The product works because it "rejuvenates" old seals by adding silicones to them. I tried to determine, via the Liqui-Moly website what chemical additives are used to meet their claims but was unsuccessful. On the other hand, I did find this:

"Our information is based on thorough research and may be considered reliable, although not legally binding."

As always, buyer beware!

I put some in my 160,000 mile 4.3 V6 Chevy but it didn't help the leaking rear main seal at all (that was my reason for trying it).
The latest oil change to Valvoline 0W40 seems to have helped a lot, which I can't explain.

I really need to change the seal but you have to pull the trans and it's a 4wd with t-case and I only drive it about 5000 miles a year and I'm lazy.
