Big difference in viscosity change there.

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, EcoDiesel 3.0, 80K, maybe 8K - 9K OCI
Out: whatever the dealer put in; Mopar Filter (stupid expensive)
In: 8 qts Rotella T 5w40 Syn; K&N Filter ($8)

The dealer did a lousy job. The drain plug needed ratchet most of the way to remove. The threads had dirt/oil. I just cleaned 'em up with a rag. Installed with fingers and torque wrench to finish.
Also serviced water separators, air filter, cabin air filter.

Diesels are dirty! Sooty! The fuel is oily. Yuck.

Here's is my 82 TRANS AM LU5 Crossfire WS6 (KITT) getting oil change done back in early March

Does it have the KITT interior? I've heard that it's not terribly fun to drive with the KITT interior. The outside looks awesome!

No,Still factory GM on inside. When/if things get better $$$ wise with recession i'm upgrading keyless alarm and radio first and recovering the seats to correct cloth

And It cost around $7000-$10,000 to purchase/install all the KITT dash/electronics inside

I've driven one completed in Los Angeles and it was fun !!. I had no issues driving with the KITT steering wheel

Gonna take care of my mom's Tundra and Tacoma with Shell & Napa/Wix or OEM filter, reducing maintenance costs. Doing lots of material & demolition hauling, I'm going for 5K intervals on the dial, in line with Toyota's maintenance schedule.
