There's no oem magnet on the duramax, only the Allison transmission external.

Yea, with the XG filters it stays pretty clean, using Delvac ESP or Rotella T6. The first 1000 miles or so usually stay a nice amber color. I sent this oil change to black stone, I'll see how clean it really is.
