Oreillys raised the price of most items just in time for the new coupon they have, I have been watching the price of gear oil and wow, these guys are shady!
Very disappointed Oreillys

My shop is directly across the street from an O'Reilly's. They consistently give the worst customer service and longest delivery times.

Their oil prices are insane. If we buy M1 quarts from them they charge is $9.49/qt.

Oil is a high profit, high markup category for most auto parts stores. Like windshield wipers.

Yeah like $15.00 a wiper for my cars.
I get them for $8.00 or so at Rock Auto.
About the same for cabin air filters.

Oil, Anti-Freeze, car wash, wax, grease, wiper blades, etc from Wal-Mart......auto PARTS ONLY from the AutoZones, OReiley's, PepBoys, Advanced & NAPA.

Sometimes Amazon/ Local Farm stores beats Walmart.

For example back in Oklahoma, local Atwoods had conventional Harvest King for $10 5qt and JC Freon for $4 a can

To me the only place with decent oil pkg deals at times is Autozone

This EXACTLY. They make up any losses on hard parts by raping you on oil, wipers, coolant, RTV.

The other one I haven't seen mentioned is BULBS. Whether it's an 1157 or 9004 their mark-up is ridiculous compared to WalMart - although any more for tail or marker bulbs I buy the bulk packs of 10+ on Amazon.

Things like wipers and bulbs they figure you're in the store 'cause ya gotta have it NOW and you're unlikely to price shop. Even Home Depot is often cheaper on bulbs than the parts stores, albeit with a limited selection

That's why their stock is nearly $400 a share.
