Hi Guys,

Any issues with leaving UV Dye in cooling system ..

I'm chasing a coolant smell in Porsche but no visible leaks.... I recently flushed the system.

Long story short can I leave uv dye for another 80k ?

What brand of u. Dye you guys recommend ?

I have bottle of this ... But it says for use with green coolant ? My coolant is not green...

Thx

Most coolant is already rather fluorescent. The reason is it has similar dye already in it.

Unfortunately I put a dab on piece of metal and it's not very fluorescent... In my case in bottle it glows...

I'm chasing leak that evaporates fast... So I really need this to get bright.

Thx

Pressure the system with a device made for it, they can be pricey for a diy but a good shop should have one.
Unfortunately if you smell it but don't see it the leak is likely in the heater core. Check your carpet for dampness.

Thx, it's does not drop under vacuum or when pressurized cold.
No smell in cabin, just under hood
