STP S8A from a 1982 Ford F100 300 6 c6 tranny. Approximately 30k on engine. Filter media looks good however the ADBV was hard and cheaply made. Filter was made in china. Was surprised to see a coil spring instead of a leaf spring. Enjoy!!!

Not my truck. My buddies. He used a fram extraguard. Since they updated it to a silicon ADBV, it should be a better filter unless your a fram hater like some. I traditionally stuck with pureone filters. Now they seem to have tearing issues.

Why such low mileage on a 1982 vehicle?

2011 Toyota Prius now at 111K
1981 Mazda GLC (323) retired at 606K
1972 Subaru DL retired at 190K
1954 Chevrolet retired at 121K

No, the "engine" only has 30k. Who knows how much the truck has in it. Engine was installed by him 2 years ago.

I have had a couple of Chinese " leak tested" filters leak at the seam. I wonder how small they will filter out?

The Motorcraft FL1A's are still very good filters and hold up better than the newer 820's for the newer engines.

Looks good for a low cost filter.

The filter media its self is good looking. But I didn't like the anti drain back valve. It was real hard and cheap looking
