Is cash App reliable for purchase?

i saw a scanner in CT., I live in Cal. I offered them less than what they wanted, they said sure, but they asked if I could pay by cash App or Facebook Pay.They stated that would save them 6 Dollars if they didn't do transaction through cash App. it's only 45 but I don't want to lose that 45 in case they decide not to send item. Which service will back me up if I report them for non shipment of item? Thanks.

Cash App is good, I have used it over the years...I prefer PayPal for obvious reasons, but Cash App is how I used to pay people sometimes. Had no issues.

how does cash app cover you if you send someone money for something and you never get it?

I don't like it, why not use a more familiar payment service?

Run from this deal. If they can't take paypal or CC there's a reason.
